So after 3 long and lovely days in Orlando Florida @ the Partnerships in Clinical Trials 2010 event I can tell you about the following take aways:
1) it’s all about partnerships and collaboration. Without strong partnerships and business relationships you’ll fail. I guess this holds true for any business too!
2) the pharma industry needs to get into the loop, meaning they need to use technology more and it will help them streamline their efforts and probably reduce some overhead. Oh and they need some Twitter training!
3) global expansion is important. But you have to have local teams in place who understand the local cultures and of course have GOOD communication so everybody is on the same page working toward the same results!
Overall it was a great event. Our team put on a great — no fantastic conference. If partnerships & clinical trials are your arena you shoul make this event a priority in 2011.
