How do I find that perfect relationship with a network?

Last week I was in a heated discussion with a good web designer friend who happens to have a decent portfolio of websites in various industries. He’s been dabbling with affiliate marketing for a while but has not really found a good working partnership with a network. He has the site building process, keyword selection & niche selection down but has not really turned much profit.

 

I was telling him he needs to go to some industry events and network. Once he does this (he’s pretty smart) I’m positive he would meet fellow internet marketers/affiliate marketers who would happily share specific info about how to turn a profit.. and help him learn more (right)?

 

 

 

A few other things I mentioned:

1) Figure out how to incentivize the offer with out really incentivizing it.. (say that quickly 5 times)

2) Keep your offers above the fold

3) Provide quality content

4) BUILD A LIST, BUILD A LIST, BUILD A LIST

5) Don’t get discouraged

6) If the site makes NO money after a certain time frame, consider Flipping it.

Networks/Affiliate Managers/Affiliates – Anything to add?
